Client Assistance and Support Program

CSI offers a comprehensive program for maintenance and enhancement of clients entire business continuity program.

Our Client Assistance and Support Program (CASP) consists of five fundamental support activities:

  •     Reviewing the business/disaster recovery plan and recovery strategies

  •     Verifying the data in the business/disaster recovery plan

  •     Continuing business/disaster recovery team development and training

  •     Continuing and enhancing plan rehearsals

  •     Consultant support to you in an actual disaster situation

We recommend you evaluate update and test your business/disaster recovery plan at least once a year.  Under our plan maintenance program, we review your entire disaster program as often as quarterly if you prefer it.  CASP includes interviews with recovery team members and other personnel within your organization as part of the review process.  We visit your facility, check for changes in your operation and review your business/disaster recovery plan.  We then produce a status report and present it to your project leader.  The report gives you a current disaster recovery status and recommendation for procedural changes and/or recovery plan updates.

CASP is ideal for organizations with first-time recovery planners or for those that have new business/disaster recovery plans, since new recovery plans change most drastically in the first two years.  We work with your recovery staff during the first years, when the plan changes are most critical - and most frequent.  With our help, your staff  may learn to take charge of your business/disaster recovery program and sustain plan maintenance activities for the life of your organization.  Many companies give the responsibility of keeping a recovery plan current to the business process leaders themselves and many times the plan remains outdated.
