REQUIREMENTS REVIEW may also be called a Scope Review. We research your recovery requirements for a specified business environment - information technology or business functions. We help you define the goals and objectives for your recovery planning project.

PLAN AUDITING is a detailed review of your existing recovery plan to determine the condition of plan components and the validity of procedures documented in the plan. We may review your list of critical business functions, computer applications, communications resources, team strategies and implementation processes, plan maintenance, recovery coordinator duties and responsibilities, data collection and documentation practices or recovery plan rehearsal procedures.

RECOVERY ASSESSMENT is the study of the requirements and relative costs associated with implementing several recovery strategies.  We work with every leading service provider on your behalf to develop the recovery strategies that best suit your needs and budget. 

PLAN DOCUMENTATION is the process of developing and documenting a comprehensive business or IT recovery plan.  Clients can choose between customized recovery plans developed from word processing templates or they may purchase custom-built web-based plans that integrate word processing templates and databases from a leading software provider. Depending on how your computing environment is designed and configured, what types of recovery strategies are in place or how your organization is structured you may need to consider developing custom scenario based plans. 

Continuity of Operations (COOP) and Continuity of Government (COG) CSI is available to audit and develop COOP and COG plans for government organizations.  CSI consultants follow Federal guidelines when working with clients.  These areas include command and management, preparedness, resource management, communications and information management, supporting technologies, ongoing management and maintenance, incident command system, ics organization, operations, planning, logistics, finance and administration, establishing area command, predestined facilities and areas, planning process, incident management resource typing system.  

PLAN TESTING and EXERCISES Two types of rehearsals are available to validate procedures and team structures in the recovery plan.  There is a table-top walk threw exercise and a actual component test scenario. We serve both in an advisory role and as a rehearsal auditor. We help you evaluate the exercise or test activities and guide you through the process of working through the "lessons learned" in the exercises.
